Paradise Road Tintagel Colombo, Colombo

I stayed at this boutique hotel after arriving early from a long train journey and found it to be a wonderful old home converted into a charming place. The rooms were everything I expected but a bit dusty. The staff were professional, friendly, and very considerate. The location was a perfect balance between calmness and accessibility to nearby eateries. The dining options were good, with both continental and Sri Lankan choices, and the facilities were generous, especially the spaces for breakfast.

The hotel is an absolute gem, located in the upscale district 7 of the city, offering a peaceful retreat with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were a luxurious haven, each visit feels like an exciting new experience, and stepping inside felt like coming home after just 5 minutes. The service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly and efficient staff ensuring every detail was taken care of to perfection. The dining experience was a delightful affair, with lovely settings whether indoors or on the patio, and the large portions kept us full for a long while. The location is a true highlight, being close to major attractions yet in a serene area, making it a perfect place to relax after a day's exploration.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. While the Royal suite I stayed in was out of this world, the North Suite, although pretty, was quite small and located in the middle of the hotel. The bed quality was amazing, though.

The hotel offers excellent rooms and superb food, with attentive and helpful staff. However, there were issues with dampness that didn't meet expectations.
